Grow old with me, the best is yet to be

If you search #houstonphotographer on Instagram at this very moment, there are 334,482 current posts. That's exactly what Priscilla did when she began her pursuit for a photographer to document a session celebrating her and Eric's first anniversary. Of all the photos uploaded at the time, something about an image that I had posted made her click on it. And from there, she liked it enough to reach out to me and schedule a session to be shot in a very specific location even though they had to travel over an hour to get there. Now, I know that I owe a lot of this to good timing, but ya'll have no idea how incredible it feels to know that of all the 300,000+ options she had, Priscilla valued my work enough to choose me.

This location is so very beautiful, but it's crazy hot with a zillion super-sized bugs. Don't they just look so miserable and uncomfortable (insert sarcasm here)? They laughed more that any other couple I've ever worked with , and Priscilla's wrinkle-nose giggle is so adorable.

I just about lost my mind when I saw this willow tree hanging down by the creek. There's nothing I love to incorporate more that a great tree, and willows have been high on my radar lately.

We moved close to the bank of the creek, I set up behind some long grass, they kept giggling, and I shot away.

The traditional first anniversary gift is paper. How perfect are photos to keep with that tradition?

This creek. This sunset. This couple. 😍😍😍 Priscilla and Eric, I had a BLAST during our session. The sweetness ya'll share for each other is so refreshing and contagious. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, and thank you for allowing me to tag along and capture it.
